Content Warnings: Authoritarian Oppression, Imprisonment, Slavery, Earthquakes, Heights Your characters are all leaders of powerful criminal organisations existing in the shadows of the tyranny of the Crown. You were recently captured by the Crown, chained together and thrown down into the mystical prison to mine ambraxite, a mineral which gives almost unlimited magical powers. The prison has levels and each level has a warden. You climb to your freedom by compelling, tricking, threatening and killing wardens. This is why you, despite the conflicting goals, work together. You are chained and solve conflicts together, but also you work against each other in those conflicts. Because only one of you can get the prize first: equipment, ambraxite, secrets, smuggling an asset to your faction. If you see your competitor winning, will you allow it to happen or will you try to take it from them putting everyone in the chain at risk? While you are in the prison, your factions on the surface keep fighting with the Crown and each other. As a player, you control them too. These are the reasons why you work against each other.
